Scale-Up Design and Specification

This program takes inputs, such as the production scale volume to be mixed, fluid properties, and type of impeller to be used, along with key parameters from a successful pilot reactor run, and gives the resulting outputs such as power per volume, torque per volume, blend time, turnovers, and typical heat transfer coefficients that result based on the scale-up mechanism selected from a pull down menu. The primary output is a recommended motor horsepower and shaft speed required for the specified process performance. The program can output the extensive calculation results to an Excel spreadsheet where multiple analyses can be studied.
