Tank Volume and Tank Sketch Program

Given mixing vessel dimensions such as tank diameter, straight side and head configuration; a designer needs to calculate the volume of the mixed fluid and the aspect ratio (liquid depth/tank diameter) of various batch sizes. This program can output the extensive calculation results to an Excel spradsheet where multiple anlyses can be studied, plotted, and printed.

In addition, a very important step in mixer design is to make a “to scale” sketch of the mixing vessel and fluid batch sizes. This information is important in order to determine the required mixer shaft length and location of impellers. This program creates a “to scale” sketch of the mixed tank as well as a report summarizing all important design information.
